Chapter 9

1 Hashem said to Moses, "Come to Pharaoh and speak to him, 'So said Hashem, the God of the Hebrews - Send out My people that they may serve Me.'  2 For if you refuse to send out, and you continue to grip them;  3 behold, the hand of Hashem is on your livestock that are in the field, on the horses, on the donkeys, on the camels, on the cattle, and on the flock — a very severe epidemic.  4 Hashem shall distinguish between the livestock of Israel and the livestock of Egypt, and not a thing that belongs to the Children of Israel will die.  5 Hashem has set an appointed time, saying, 'Tomorrow Hashem shall carry out this word in the land.' "

6 Hashem carried out this word the next day, and all the livestock of Egypt died, and of the livestock of the Children of Israel not one died.  7 Pharaoh sent and behold, of the livestock of Israel not even one had died — yet Pharaoh's heart became stubborn and he did not send out the people.

8 Hashem said to Moses and Aaron, "Take for yourselves handfuls of furnace soot, and let Moses hurl it heavenward before Pharaoh's eyes.  9 It will become dust over the entire land of Egypt, and it will become boils erupting into blisters on man and beast throughout the land of Egypt."  10 They took soot of the furnace, and stood before Pharaoh and Moses threw it heavenward; and it became boils and blisters, erupting on man and beast.  11 The necromancers could not stand before Moses because of the boils, because the boils were on the necromancers and on all of Egypt.  12 Hashem strengthened the heart of Pharaoh and he did not heed them, as Hashem had spoken to Moses.

13 Hashem spoke to Moses, "Arise early in the morning and station yourself before Pharaoh; say to him, 'So said Hashem, the God of the Hebrews - Send out My people that they may serve Me.  14 For this time I shall send all My plagues against your heart, and upon your servants, and your people, so that you shall know that there is none like Me in all the world.

Chapter 28

19 You shall offer a fire-offering, an elevation-offering to Hashem - two young bulls, one ram, seven male lambs within their first year, unblemished shall they be for you.  20 And their meal-offering - fine flour mixed with oil; you shall make three tenth-ephah for each bull and two tenth-ephah for each ram.  21 One tenth-ephah shall you make for each lamb, of the seven lambs.  22 And one he-goat for a sin-offering, to provide you atonement.  23 Aside from the elevation-offering of the morning that is for the continual elevation-offering shall you make these.  24 Like these shall you make each day of the seven-day period - food, a fire-offering, a satisfying aroma to Hashem; in addition to the continual elevation-offering shall it be made, and its libation.  25 The seventh day shall be a holy convocation for you; you shall not do any laborious work.
