Yechezchial/Ezekiel 38:18 - 39:16

Chapter 38

18 It shall be on that day, on the day that Gog comes on the soil of Israel — the words of my Lord Hashem/Elohim — My raging anger shall flare up.  19 For in My indignation and in My blazing wrath I have spoken. I take an oath that on that day a great earthquake shall come upon the soil of Israel.  20 And there shall quake before Me the fish of the sea, the birds of the sky, the beasts of the field, all creeping things that move on the ground, and every human being on the face of the earth. Mountains shall be overthrown, cliffs shall topple, and every wall shall topple to the ground.  21 I will summon the sword against him to all My mountains — the words of my Lord Hashem/Elohim. Every man's sword shall be against his brother.  22 I will punish him with pestilence and with blood; torrential rain, hailstones, and sulfurous fire upon him and his cohorts, and the many peoples that are with him.  23 Thus will I be exalted and sanctified, and I will become known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am Hashem.

Chapter 39

1 And you, Ben Adam, prophesy against Gog and say - Thus says my Lord Hashem/Elohim - See I am against you Gog, prince, leader of Meshech and Tubal.  2 I shall lead you astray and seduce you, and I shall cause you to advance from the farthest north and bring you to the mountains of Israel.  3 I will strike your bow from your left hand, and I will cast down your arrows from your right hand.  4 You shall fall upon Israel's mountains, you and all your cohorts and the nations that are with you; I will present you as carrion for every winged bird and beast of the field.  5 You will fall upon the open field, for I have spoken — the words of my Lord Hashem/Elohim.

6 I will dispatch a fire against Magog and against those who dwell confidently in the islands, and they shall know that I am Hashem.  7 I will make known My holy Name among My people Israel, and I will nevermore desecrate My holy Name, and the nations shall know that I am Hashem, the holy One in Israel.

8 Behold! it has come and happened — the words of my Lord Hashem/Elohim; this is the day of which I have spoken.  9 Then the inhabitants of Israel's cities will go out and make fires and feed them with weapons, shield and buckles, with bow and with arrows, with hand-club and spear — and shall fuel fire with them for seven years.  10 They will not carry wood from the field, nor cut it from the forests, for with weapons they shall feed the fires. They will despoil those who despoiled them and plunder those who plunder them — the words of my Lord Hashem/Elohim.

11 On that day I shall assign to Gog a burial site there in Israel — the valley of the travelers — and there they will bury Gog and all his horde, and call it the Valley of Gog's Horde.  12 The family of Israel will bury them for seven months, in order to cleanse the Land.  13 All the people of the Land will bury, and it will cause them renown; the day I manifest My Glory — the words of my Lord Hashem/Elohim.  14 They will designate permanent officials passing through the Land, burying — with passersby — those that remain upon the open field in order to cleanse it; after seven months, they are to seek out.  15 As the passersby traverse the Land and see a human bone, then they shall build a marker near it, until the buriers bury it in the Valley of Gog's Horde.  16 There shall also be a city called Hamonah; thus will they cleanse the Land.
