Father of 6 Murdered in Palestinian Authority Terror Attack
Rabbi Raziel Shevach, 35, a family man who always wanted to help.

Rabbi Raziel Shevach, z’l, 35, was murdered Tuesday night by Palestinian Authority Arab terrorists in a drive-by shooting at the entrance to Gilad Farms on Highway 60, in Samaria, Israel.

The attackers opened fire at nearly point-blank range while passing the rabbi’s car as they drove towards him at approximately 8:05 pm.

22 bullets were fired at his car.

Rabbi Raziel, himself a Magen David Adom (MDA) first responder, and his wife are parents to six children at their home in Havat Gilad.

He was evacuated in critical condition to Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba, a suburb of Tel Aviv. His wife told Ynet that her husband “called me and said, “I’ve been shot, call an ambulance.” She said that she is “still shocked and horrified at how easily they gun us down.” She asked the public to pray for her husband.

By the time Magen David Adom (MDA) spokesperson Zaki Heller arrived from Kedumim along with an IDF medical force, the man’s condition was already grave. “We gave him life-saving medical treatment and he was evacuated to the hospital,” Heller said. “His condition was critical.”

The hospital released a statement saying that the rabbi arrived with no heartbeat, and no longer breathing.

A search has been launched for the vehicle and the terrorists, who managed to escape. IDF troops shut down Highway 60 in both directions — the main artery that runs past the community — and other small roads in the area, located south of Shechem (Nablus) as they hunted for the shooters.

Baruch HaDayan HaEmet. May his blood be avenged.
